Artist Focus: Aliagha Hosseinpour

Aliagha Hosseinpour is Persian graphic designer with his own style of illustration which has been inspired by Persian stone printings. Graphic’s Practicality and its direct communication with general public are the main reasons of Ali’s love of graphic. Presence of staggered humans and existence of hidden layers are his visual characteristics. This artist aims to create something that could challenge his audience by making them find his codes. Ali is busy with collecting 99 posters from Persian contemporary graphic designers for 99 Poster Biennial.

Aliagha Hosseinpour describes his art and says: “as a graphic designer I believe that an artist must have a true cognition of his society in order to be able to be effective and challenge issues with a fresh view. Graphic designer is a visual interpreter with his client and general public.”
