Artist Focus: Babak Bayrami

Babak Bayrami is a graphic artist. In most of his artworks we witness simple, but deep ideas. The most interesting thing is the vertical alignment in his artworks, from top to bottom. Using dark backgrounds and finding new shapes for avoiding his arts tendency toward formalism are characteristics of Babak’s art. He is trying to reinforce internal and visual concepts of his art by interfering the audiences’ mind with his artworks. He says: “art is neither for people’s sake, nor for art’s sake. Art is for the sake of universe and its creatures”.
