One of the most important parts of graphic designing is poster designing. Variety of styles has caused the designers to consider their time and what society needs for choosing a single style. Minimal is a frequent style in poster designing these days. Being precise and avoiding philosophical complexities and simplicity are the main specifications of this style which has caused it to penetrate in advertisement era as well.
Behnam Raeesian, B.A in visual communication and a permanent member of Japa Art Group, is one of the iconic figures of this style. Creating unique posters in minimal style and participating in various contests made him a well-known graphic designer.
Behnam explains about his style and says: “minimal has a precise essence which can be deeply effective when used in an appropriate circumstance. Simplicity of minimal artworks is about genuine applying of elements, colors, and concepts, but every simple artwork is not necessarily minimal”.
