Eilya Tahamtani is an illustrator from Shiraz, Iran who is an expert in painting, illustration, cartoon and video art and has published several books concerning art. Moreover, Eilya is the manager of a privet advertising company in which he is busy doing advertising and publication activities.
Among his important activities, we can mention holding several art recalls and collecting young artists’ artworks and showing them in art cafes. Eilya thinks that showing artworks in a cafe creates a good opportunity and a launch pad for young artists to introduce their art because of the specific culture and communication of cafes.
Among his other activities we can mention making few video arts and publication of several books themed illustration of poems of different poets. What happens in Eilya’s illustrations is feeling the very close boundaries of painting, illustration, and cartoon. He believes that in illustration, every artist must be aware of aesthetics of design and painting as well as conceptualization and storytelling.
