Creativity and idea development are the main essence of paintings of young artist, Homa Arkani. Girls and young Persian woman’s- who have been drowned in their fantasy world- identity crisis, are her main concerns which has attracted both Iranian and foreigner audience and followed by their admiration.
Issues which have been reflected in her art are widely spreading in the society and her venture in presenting them in her paintings can be a stimulus for families and even society to pay more attention to them. Bitter irony of Homa’s artworks is merely for a deeper impact and far apart from ridicule and humiliation.
Homa talks about her unique style, creativity, and idea development and says: “I believe that art can only be special when its idea comes directly from mind and heart of artist; therefore one should be himself to create her own unique style. Lots of fluctuation will appear in this path, but it will lead us to ourselves.”
Holding individual exhibitions in London, United States, France, Greece, Seyhoun Gallery, and Mohsen Gallery are among Homa’s artistic activities.
