Mahdieh Abolhasan is an artist who is dealing with criticism of various layers of social life in her artworks. She wants to mention the transition and refer to stability and peace that is the most important desire of mankind in present era by curving cardboard layers in order to reach the depth. She explains her mentality and says: “I create my artworks with the layers of cardboard and digging into them for reaching depth. I create to destroy, a procedure that we are dealing with in every day of our contemporary lives. It is the world of creation and destruction.”

This young artist put layers of cardboard on top of each other and creates a volume by sticking them together. Then she curves into this volume to create her final piece. Mahdieh took distance from traditional methods and creates her artwork with industrial methods. Social themes of her artworks and act of her volumes picture her thoughtful mind and purity of her ideas.
