Artist Focus: Meysam Namdar

Meysam Namdar is a young creative Persian artist who is active in “Engraving Picture” style. In this style Meysam tries to create a specific composition by using lines and shapes he has created himself. Meysam’s art style is inspired by paintings in Saquakhaneh, historical legends, and religious motifs and spaces. “Engraving Picture” style is consist of wavy lines, flowers and birds, designed alphabets, and specific figures and is one of a kind.
The atmosphere of Meysam’s art seems to be symmetric initially but in the climax of his designing art the asymmetric state of his artwork creates the sense of visual beauty and dynamism in the spectators’ eyes. Mixture of lines and elements and combination of Persian classic designing with graphic designing in this style has brought Meysam so many fans in the land of Persia.
