Social photography is a special kind of photography because a photographer can rarely picture a specific subject due to cultural and ethnic excuses. Picturing delicacies of various cultures, nations, and races for our posterity is a fantastic job.
Milad Rafat is a photographer with social tendency who has begun his artistic career by photographing traditional ceremonies of Boushehr with the aim of picturing their customs. Milad believes that facing with society and getting engage with its difficulties and privileges which would lead us to a better cognition of a society and its traditions.
Milad continues his speeches about social photography and says: “we do still have some places with unknown cultures. Social photography can help us to find out delicacies of their culture with no prejudice due to its reflection of a culture”. Chosen artwork in the US Photojournalism Contest and membership in LUCIDO Art Group which is based in Bosnia and Herzegovina are in Milad’s Professional CV.
