Artist Focus: Mohammad Sorkhabi

Mohammad Sorkhabi, musician and percussion instrument teacher, has been engaged with photography for two years. He has earned the Fine Art’s first reward in Canada Tirgan Festival; two artworks of him have been chosen for the final section and have been displayed in Malaysia-Kuala Lumpur portrait contest; his art has also been chosen in few national and international contests. He has published more than 20 photos in Vogue Italia and Photo Vogue.

Most of his artworks are inspired by Renascence portrait paintings with a subtle expression filled by emotions and poetic feelings that indicate social issues. Mood Photography is the style of Mohammad Sorkhabi which makes the audience communicate with the poetic feeling of his art better. His portraits are different from other portraits that we see every day due to their emphasize on social issues through deep abstract feelings and delicate expressions in the eyes of his models …
