Painting is a branch of art which is deeply rooted in artist’s soul, and this is exactly why it can affect audiences’ soul. Adnan Mosallaie is an artist who creates smooth and bright feelings in his watercolor paintings. Studying from great masters such as Aidin Aghdashlou and Abdi Asghari and observing watercolor masterpieces of Mohammad-Ali Yazdchi helped him to find a great artistic taste of his own. He talks about the similarities of his style to surrealism and says: “I want to picture visual poem that are rooted in my feelings, perceptions and concerns. Watercolor has that elegance, fluidity, and brightness that I need to create a fancy and illusory atmosphere just like a poem’s atmosphere”.
